PET Preforms

Pacific Allied Products recently invested in two world-class systems for the manufacture of preforms for plastic containers. The HyPET 120 Injection Mold machine uses the latest technology and is the most advanced preform equipment available in the world. Each of these machines produces up to 16,000 preforms per hour.

Pacific Allied Products manufactures plastic containers using a two-step process. In the first step, plastic pellets are measured, melted, and molded into preforms as shown in the picture. The preforms are colored as required and inventoried. In the second step, the preforms are heated, stretched, and inflated to the shape of the Desired Plastic Container. Pacific Allied Products' new manufacturing plant will enable the production of more than two hundred million preforms annually.
